Timberman 70.3 will be my first triathlon. My (ambitious) goal is to finish in under 5 hours. I'm a 27 male with a six year background in racing marathons / half-marathons. The swim is definitely my weakest leg. I'm confident i'll finish (slowly) the swim, I just don't want to throw away several minutes on what is already my weakest event... not to mention being the only goober out there without a wetsuit. I'm curious if there are any shops in the area that rent out wetsuits before i commit $200+ to an item I may never use again?

Under 5 hours at Timberman is not too hard.
Your not going to be the only person at Timberman without a wetsuit btw, it's a lake swim and warm. The lake typically is glass flat.
PM me if you live in my area I will lend you a wetsuit
Cheers
