I have had the pleasure recently of a study in contrasts. My 2008 Cervelo R3 with Ultegra 6700 10 speed, a 1999 Cannondale R1000 Caad 3 with Ultegra 6500, 9 speed, and most recently purchasing Dura Ace 9000 for the Cervelo. There's something a bit magical about the 9 speed gruppo. It's shiny metal/chrome, I feel like its quieter, and more visceral with a distinctive clunk between gears. That's it, what do you guys think?
