I've really been looking into getting a Garmin VIRB to mount onto the back of my bike mainly for races and to see the data overlay afterwards.

However, my only device is the Forerunner 910XT. I've seen no mention anywhere saying that the VIRB is compatible with the 910XT. Is this true or will it work with the 910?

I'm asking here to confirm because it seems kind of odd that the VIRB would be compatible with almost every sport watch/computer but not the 910.

Edit to add - I don't even want to control it remotely from the device. Just simply want the ANT+ connectivity so I can get the video overlay with data.
