has anybody come up with a homemade version of UCAN drink mix. have used 3 bottles of this stuff and love it. just looking for a more afforadable solution out there.

I was talking about this with a guy in my office 30 minutes ago. He is a big believer in it and suggested I try. Tell me about your experience with it.

It's just modified starch. Hit up your local restaurant supply stores and see if you can pick up a 16oz package or more.
Hey Aj, my channel swimming buddy loves the stuff, basically all he drinks on his long swims. And some of those swims are up to 24 hours too. I tried some of his once and it was fine. I just did an 8k swim with it, but no indigestion or other problems. I can't say if it stopped any bonk, but my buddy sure could not do his swims on any placebo.
