I have just had scans today resulting in a confirmed rupture of the achilles that will require surgery.

Hoping those out there that have been through this can share how long they were out of action before being able to get back into training. The new sprint season starts in November and I have an entry in the Amy Gillett Gran Fondo in September. I am not optimistic about being recovered and ready for September...but hoping I am wrong.
