The wind (in Austin in particular)
Simple really - moving there for next winter to train full time. Is it windy out of interest? I have read about Texas in general having never ending winds. Is this true? Does this help through more resistance or does it mean you end rides early through annoyance?

Thanks

James

No it isn't that bad here. There are days it kicks up a little. Sometimes you wish for it in the summer time when it is 104 out.

Keep in mind I came from Oklahoma where it truly is windy everyday. When we moved down here my wife and I kept looking for the wind forcast. In Oklahoma they forcast the wind speed every day. If you want wind Lubbock and West Texas is the prepetual wind machine.
