TdF in USA
As I was watching the race today on NBC, I noticed the pay said most of the stages are going to be on Peacock, I check GCN+ and while it’s available in some countries it appears it is block in the USA.

Am I understanding this correctly? Are there other options besides Peacock?

Thx

If you have GCN+ it's best to use a VPN, then you can watch anything GCN+ airs.

Without a vpn, yes, your only option is peacock.

Sunday is peacock only, but most stages will be on USA network and peacock.

I didn't pay up yet, but I understand its only $4.99 a month. That's so cheap, so I see why not. I don't get USA network anymore.

When you realize how bad Peacock coverage is compared to GCN+, you'll be signing up for a VPN.

The Peacock Simon Gerrans / Ant McCrossan feed isn't bad. The "Phil feed" is....bad.

Looks like the live feed is peacock only for many stages. But you can watch/record the encore version on USA at 2am each morning for free. At least on DirecTV. Hopefully we can avoid spoilers until seeing the replay.

Great things never come from comfort zones.

Add me to the list of GCN+ subscribers with a VPN. I'm watching it via Sweden. I use Nord VPN.

This seems to be the most complete schedule I've seen for USA viewers. It shows 2am encore showings every stage. The sporting news site shows similar results.

The “international feed” on Peacock is very good and commercial free.

If you aren’t willing to pay $5 to watch all 21 stages live/ on demand (with the added bonus of US Swim Championships, Diamond League and USATF Championships), you can’t be that interested.

Do you have to watch it live or can you watch on demand?

On demand as well. Replays saved for up to 6 months I think. I go back and toss them on for trainer rides. Also get Vuelta, Paris-Roubaix, Flèche Wallone, Paris-Nice a number of Women’s races. And then some other sports coverage. Wife and I will catch some SNL or Dateline on demand. Binged Yellowstone.

At the risk of sounding like a commercial, for all the crap I pay to stream (no cable), $5/mos for Peacock my best bang for buck.

And. Am traveling now, so watching World Feed on Wifi on my phone app.

Where is the international feed located? Can’t seem to find it.

It's labeled as the "World Feed", shows up for me as a tile right next to the other feed.

Usually it isn't one of the header tiles. You have to go to Sports then the live sports row and the world feed (yellow) should be next to the main feed.

The only thing annoying is you have to wait for the stage to finish to watch the replay.

If you login while it’s live you can only “rewind” as far back as an hour

Is the GCN+ coverage the same as the NBC World Feed?

The video feed is the same. The commentary is vastly different. The GCN people are very knowledgeable with insights into team dynamics as well as each stage and what it all adds up to. NBC is like listening to an old man with minor dementia and another guy that just giggles all the time. The difference is night and day.

I think you must mean the "USA" feed. He asked about the world feed. Which with Nico Roche and Ant McCrossan isn't bad (IMO). Not nearly as good as GCN+, but watchable.

The pictures are the same regardless of where you are watching from or what network. There is only one VIDEO feed.... different broadcasters then use their own commentators. Even most of the replays are controlled by same feed....
