Was at the pool at 5:30am this morning to swim some long course laps before work (work out before work and after work). I am saving for a new bike - as I do not finance toys - so running, swimming, and core/lifting at the moment.
There was a masters team there. I'm 29 and most of them were about my age or younger. To be candid, that black line gets boring and I've never really NOT been part of a sports team since I could walk. Never a swimmer though. I was a diver for 7 years +/- and was always around them.
Is it worth paying what would be $50 a month? The practices are every day of the week in the mornings at two pools very close by (I'm in Tampa). I'm a cheap bast*rd so yes or no and why or why not.
