WCSN is covering the meet for American viewers. Pretty decent coverage, including what looks like a fair amount of open water highlights. And all for the price of a fancy coffee ($4.95 for one month access to the site)

Friday and Saturday night, espn360.com will have the NCAA Men's Swimming & Diving Championships live and for free too! There'll also be the normal TV coverage next Wednesday on ESPN2 as well....

Better off Tivoing the tv coverage of it. The ESPN 360 coverage of the women's meet wasn't that great- they had Maritza Correia commentating and it seemed like it was the very, very first time she'd been sportscasting anything. (Why couldn't they have gotten Amanda Beard if they'd wanted a woman. She would have been decent)

The tv coverage has Rowdy Gaines, who even though he gets a little too enthusiastic sometimes, really understands how to cover the sport.

Some wicked fast times so far! Thursday night Cielo from Auburn set a U.S. Open record of 18.69 in the 50 Free and tonight Subirats from Arizona set one in the 100 Fly at 44.57 and Alexandrov of Northwestern set one in the 100 Breast with a 51.56. And some relay records fell too!

That meet has been insanely fast. When someone takes down the old 400 Texas medley record that had Piersol, Hanson and Crockett on the first three legs, that's freakin' fast.

I wonder how many of the foreign guys are going to swim worlds as well. A Brazilian victory for Cielo in the 100 free isn't out of the question if he makes the party.
