Coming to San Diego for the first time in a few weeks. Need some decent places to run, or swim if possible. Staying at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. Any of our SD slowtwitchers out there have any input? Thanks.

I think that's right along the harbor in downtown if I'm not mistaken. You could simply hit the boardwalk and follow it along the coast as the AFC half (www.afchalf.com) and San Diego Int'l (www.kozenterprises.com) courses do.

The two San Diego Bay loops are right out the front door of the hotel, Coronado is a short car or ferry ride away.
The municipal pool in Coronado is very nice and right on the water: Coronado Aquatic Center -- 1845 Strand Way, ( 619) 522-2464, call for hours. $5 for non-residents
