I decided to upgrade my aero bars, and when I did, the pads on the new bar have a larger gap from the base bar than my old aero bars. The problem I am having, is that even with all the spacers removed, I can't get the new base bar low enough to have the pads sitting at the same height as my original set up. Currently have a -6 stem, will a different stem help me get the bars lower? I love the new bars (and the great price I got on them), any help making these work would be appreciated.
