Stack/Reach Database: what's not on there?
if there are any tri or road bikes you think ought to be on our stack and reach dbase, let us know, and we'll get them up. you'll find these listed under "list all tri" and "list all road."

Doing the "list all tri", I don't see the following:

Argon (all models)
Bianchi Aquila and Pico
Blue (all models)
Ceepo (all models)
Colnago K-Zero
Diamondback Serios
Dimond
Fuji Norcom Straight
Giant (whatever they have nowadays)
KHS SCR2000
Look (596 and 576)
Pinarello Graal
QR (Fit series)
Wilier Blade and Twin Blade

If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know!

Thanks!

On the "list all road" side of the house:

Blue - all models
Cannondale - for the Synapse, the carbon frameset has different geometry than the aluminum
Foundry - if you want to add gravel/cross bikes to the list
KHS - all models
Planet X - all models
Raleigh - all models
Schwinn - all models (I know, Schwinn probably "doesn't count" in some folks' eyes, but I've fit a couple of them).
Time - all models

Also, I think I forgot Guru, Falco, Planet X, and Storck on the tri side...

for everyone's edification, we already know (prior to this thread), and are now uploading the following:

tri:

Scott plasma premium
Cannondale’s new slice

road:

Cervelo’s new S5
Cervelo’s new P3/P2 (same as P5?)
Quintana Roo PR6

so, it's what's beyond these we need to know what we're missing, thanks everybody so far for helping.

I see nothing from Devinci, either their roads or their tri frameset.

Canyon - it may be my internet speed, some bikes are listed, can't see the Speedmax listed or any geometries.

rather than start a new thread. I had a bike fitting (paid for it) I have the following list of dimensions:

A 74.0 cm Saddle Height (Seat top to C. BB.)
B 6.5 cm Tip Seat to C.Bottom Bracket (B)
C 4.5 cm Seat to stem Height Relationship (C)
D 66.5 cm Tip of Seat to Back of Brakehoods (D)

Is there some way of determining from this for any given brand what size frame I need without going out with a tape measure and seeing if I can adjust them (this isn't to buy a bike its to rent one) - I realise that had I been given a stack / reach dimension that I'd not have this problem. (a strong argument for standardisation but thats a different story) is it possible / or is there a formula to extract stack / reach from this? I am guessing that the answer is no without having the stem length?

apologies for the hijack

I guess this has nothing to do with stack/reach, per se, but some other important fitting info that might be nice to have is:
- headset ( 1"; 1-1/8"; proprietary -- hopeless to fit another stem/aerobar )
- steer tube type ( standard; bayonnet )

The whole topic of aerobars is a difficult one, from a bike fitter's perspective. There are some great bikes and some great aerobars, but you might never be able to join the two, in some cases.

Edit: I guess the headset type is already there. "int" or "ext" . Is it hopeless to try any "int" headsets with standard ("ext") stem/aerobars combinations? I thought there were some work-arounds...

From a marketing perspective I think it would be really cool of Devinci came out with a new TT bike with model name "Code".

There's no Giant TT bikes (I know, I know, they aren't listed on the US website)

It looks as though the P3 stack and reach is the old P3, with no info for the new P3

Thank you Dan for this list. I see that I have a whopping choice of ***2*** road bikes (Cervelo and Felt) to choose from for my Smurfy size (650c).

That is 2 more than I thought I had ;-)
