Does anyone have any advice or personal anecdotes they can share on success stories in gaining weight? In addition to regular foods, I'm looking for advice on protein shakes / supplements that have helped you gain muscle mass without completing loading you down / stuffing yourself with a thick and heavy supplement. Max protein and calories for minimal "stuffage". Thank you.

Your protein needs go way down when you are in a caloric excess. Extra protein has been shown to preserve muscle mass on a CALORIC DEFICIT, but that is not your situation. No need to stuff yourself with extra protein. Why not just eat more food? Food is good!
