It didn't fill up last year until a few weeks prior to the race. They had bumped slots up to 2000. However, this year they have gone back to a smaller field, limited to 1700.

The other cool thing is that if you register the first week (Oct 1-7) you only pay $95 instead of $150.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I checked out the difference in cost for registering early...quite a savings! I'll try to decide by the end of the week.
