Something familiar about that new Kuota...

I could not help but notice that the new Queen K looked an awful lot like a homemade bike I saw on WW a year or so ago, and someone was kind enough to repost a good picture of it today. So what say you, has Kuota been hanging out in Samu's Kitchen?

I dont think so...It comes down to: just how much different can a bike look while staying within the UCI rules? After a while, they all start to look the same.

There are a lot of differences in those two bikes.

They definatly have some similar visual cues, but there's nothing unique about either that you can attribute to a single previous design and say: this idea comes from that bike.

I would say that the Kuota shares as much with the Time TT bike than the homemade(?) one.

There is something familiar. What bike does that and many other TT bikes look like? Hmmmm... I keep thinking mid to early 90's for some reason. Hmmmmm.....
