since I'll be in the SF area s few days, what shouldn't I miss? Anyone have suggestions for good rides, pubs, bike shops, coffee houses... What is the best to see and do in the Bay Area?

Thanks,
Ed

Decent food, incredible show. This suggestion was in jest, but I have been there, and it is an "experience".

"Over nine years ago, Larry Hashbarger and Skip Young opened AsiaSF. This restaurant-lounge-dance club quickly became a San Francisco entertainment landmark. A true celebration of diversity -- many believe AsiaSF is the ultimate San Francisco experience."

Oh right, I was thinking that was the name of the local Chinatown of a restaurant. I was kind of close with my second guess.

I rode across the GG Bridge the day after the race into Sausalito and beyond, then caught the ferry from Tiburon back across the bay. Awesome ride.
