Just got back from my bike fit from a FIST certifited fitter. Let me preface this by saying that I had a pretty poor experience at one of the most renowned bike shops in Southern California (also FIST certified).
I had an awesome experience with Matt, who was:
1) Extremely Affordable
2) Knowledgable
3) A stellar listener/helper
If you're looking for a fit in the area, this guy is based in Oceanside. He also posts on the forum as MLSimpson and can be reached at
mlsimpson_@hotmail.com
He doesn't currently have a Fit Bike, so that aspect wouldn't be an option, but for getting a FIST fit on your current bike or some small repairs, I can say that he's fast and courteous (I think a good alternative to some mega bike shops with crappy service)
I've been here on slowtwitch about a year and this is only my 2nd plug, so don't flame me too badly.
