Damn I'm tired. Today we kicked off with a solo run (from which I was exempted) followed by a technique analysis where jonnyo and paulo reviewed underwater footage. Then we hit to pool to apply what we learned. I got jonnyo to film me swimming again, and was pleased to see some improvements - now I just need to log about a million meters to refine and lock down the technique.

After the swim we hit Milagros for coffee, and had a few hours before the ride. Paulo kicked off the ride with a "skills clinic", which was pretty entertaining. Then we hit the road for a 2hr ride that turned into closer to 3, with a pretty tough climb that had maybe 6 miles of false flats leading up to it. I ran out of fluids (having planned for a 2hr ride) and had to stop at a house where Jodi and I filled up from the garden hose (no-one answered the doorbell). I have a massive knot in my right calf from the run, but it didn't really bother me all that much during the ride - it was just kind of annoying. Some people cut the ride short and others missed the turnoff, so only a few of us did the actual ride with the full climb.

Jodi made a kickass dinner, and now I'm about ready to pass out.
