Slowtwitcher brunch in Kona

Organized with the help of Cathy Morgan (ironclm), we have a brunch for Slowtwitchers, at 10AM on Thursday.

The house is part of a complex called Alii Kai, the address is 75-5984 Alii Dr. If you're driving down Alii Dr. from downtown, you'll go about 2 miles and it's right there, just before Sea Village.

Parking is probably going to be an issue, i'll post on Monday evening or Tuesday morning with further parking instructions.

RSVP not necessary. Hope to see everyone there.

Hey....everyone will have bikes....no need to worry about parking....make it a no car event. Ride to the brunch or don't get fed :-). You could post pics from the Kona ST bike pornfestival...

So, I guess my wife and 3.5 y/o daughter are SOL then, huh? They can scrounge for themselves I guess..... Or maybe I can pedal standing, the wife rides on the saddle, and put the wee one on the aerobars, that way we can all ride ;-)

guests are welcome. you can ride your bike, run, walk, drive your car, skateboard, segue, however it is you want to get there is fine. bring whomever you want.

Actully if you go to parts of the world where for millions a bike IS the only transportation that they have( China, India, Vietnam etc . .) you see this all the time.Whole families will get around on one bike!

Not sure how the carbon aerobars would handle someone sitting on them though!

Cathy, you'll have to run to the brunch after hanging out at the pier with young buffed Euro tri studs that talk with cool accents. Then you can hang out with a bunch of middle age, backside of the age curve tri posers, with greying hair or receding hairlines...where do you really want to hang out? But we're trying not to get too fat and soft during out tapers so that we can hold our own with the aforementioned Eurostuds (including of course the famous SERGIO...) :-)
