Slowman's statement of shallow/steep in CH
Quote | Reply
I think Dan is right by assuming that French speaking triathletes of Switzerland ride shallow and German speaking ride more steep.

All the French speaking swiss that I know of and that did Hawaii this year were riding shallow. Steep is just not in the mentality here, maybe because we have a lot of hills (call them mountains) on our doorstep and do not have the German influence that the swiss german have.

Nobody cares but I had to give my 02.

Oh I thought it was just because the Swiss always have to be neutral on everything. 50% one way, 50% the other...I assumed it was in your genetic make up to not take a definitive position on such an important global issue :-)

BTW, I don't use my tri bike when I ride in the hills either. I think they suck for the steeps.

Neutral would be 100% either way.

50% one way, and 50% the other way is called "divided" :-)))
