Seat tube angle on manufacter info
Hi guys, when the manufacter lists seat tube angle as 73, and the seat post is listed as a 25mm setback, does that mean the real seat tube angle is around 72 assuming middle saddle position... Or is that already calculated by the manufacter and it's 73 with the setback?

I'm trying out a zero setback post so I wana see how much stepper I'm going.

If its a tradional bike with a straight seat tube from BB to top of the tube (were the seat post goes in), then its the angle of the actual tube (along the centerline if the tube is shaped).

If the seat tube isn't straight then its going to vary by mfg.

On a curved, or missing seat tube (Zipp, Softride, Titanflex) it is a theoretical line from the center of the BB shell to where they would presume the center mount of the seat would be.
