Does anyone know if the profile design aeria stem fits?

Those are the bars & stem I'm running on mine.

You're going to need a 5mm spacer under the stem to clear the front of the head tube

Profile Aeria Ultimate 100mm stem & bars.

My bike frame hasn't had it's annual bath yet for 2018.

I've obviously had some work done to the bike to route the rear brake cable and di2 wires internally. I should probably do a pictorial of all the mods I've made. On the other hand I like having what I think is the worlds most aerodynamic Plasma 3 premium!

Nice work, but did you custom cut that hole in the side of the stem? If yes, based on the size of the hole and the consequences of catastrophic stem failure, that would give me a bit of a pucker factor ...

The stem came like that. No custom mods on the stem.

I am guessing you drilled the top tube ? I went down the steerer tube into the frame

Not only did we drill the top tube we drilled out the seat tube and some other places. We able to use most of the internal routing that was already built into the frame and then created some new routes for some of the wires.

I'll do a pictorial and let you know when I get it on my website

desert dude- would love to see a few more pics of your front end. I’m hesitant to do any drilling in the carbon, but it feels like I got wires everywhere. Really want to get the front end cleaned up.

After 4 years of searching i finally have my hands on a flat stem.

The stem is wider than the standard premium stem and my base bar wont now fit.

Pro missile bars come up rarely secondhand , any others recommended? profile design svet?

thanks

wow, that's quite the hunt for the holy grail; congrats. how did you locate it?

I seem to recall that someone ran a USE with the Shark Tooth Stem. In fact, I think he (Berg HĂĽgi, IIRC) even posted about it

edit, here's the original post (pics still working)

I see posts looking for these seatposts. I’ve been interested in purchasing a Scott Plasma Premium 3 for some time. This seatpost matter has given me great pause. The last two that I’ve inquired about have been 1”-1 1/2” shorter than my center of crank to bottom of saddle rails measurement (at the center of the seatpost). I don’t have a Scott dealer near me and haven’t seen any new seat posts available online. I have some questions.

Is anyone aware of a source for these seat posts? Price?
Are the shimkits still available?
Can you safely shim up to 4 cm?
Has anyone used anything else to create a shim (i.e.-could one be fabricated from wood)?
Finally, is anyone aware of a Scott representative or a dealer that is highly knowledgeable of this particular bike and this matter?

I greatly appreciate any help as I’ve let this matter hold me back from making this purchase.

Roger-
I have a premium 3 and have made a shim from wood. So far so good. I believe Westbrook cycles in the UK has post and shims (Pretty pricey though).

I believe it is 1/4". i also bought the shim kit from Westbrook. Works good, but needed a tad bit more height. I just traced the shim they sent and cut out with a dremel.

Does anyone know if there are clearance issues with a HED Jet Disc?

I can confirm that there isn't any issue with clearance

Actually had a HED Jet disc wheel that did rub, but it was the fault of the wheel. The replacement wheel worked just fine.

Is that a HED Jet +, or regular Jet?

I'm looking for one of the shorter gray stems that came on the smaller frames if anyone happens to have one lying around.
