I said it's probably just a coincidence. Ask Nancy Kerrigan if these things ever happen in sport though. Not unheard of.

You're probably correct. Just interesting that out of 200,000 people on that island it was somebody connected to her chief rivals team. Just an interesting coincidence. Doubt it's anything more than that but weirder things have happened.

You will notice that in the 14th and 53d satellite pictures of the incident, the driver (once again) is clearly not wearing a timing chip at the point of impact. Coincidence? I think not. If only someone could find GoPro footage of her left ankle as she entered the car, we could wrap this obvious conspiracy in a tidy bow. (You will remember that both of Nancy Kerrigan's assailants insisted that they had "lost" their chips and therefore could NOT prove that they were NOT at the scene of the incident.) As Deep Throat said about Watergate, "Follow the chips!"

I bet if we look further their hotels are probably within a couple miles of each other too.

Rinny has had her back to the wall plenty of times before and she always comes out swinging. For her to DNF she must have been in pain. It's unfortunate as would have been very exciting seeing her pick them all off.
I don't see the front changing in either race now. Podiums will be interesting. Jodie has the potential to implode on the run. Really hope MB gets herself on the podium - she's a real battler.
