Removing quarq magnet affixed by putty
Anyone know the best way to remove the magnet/putty? It's been on there solid for 3.5 years and I have no clue what approach I should be taking. I hear it's a PITA, but short of a jack hammer, what tool(s) should I be using?

IME: A slight tap from the side will break it free.

Two options (outside of dropping the chain...), use a flathead screw driver and place it on the side of the magnet (staying away from the frame), then give it a tap with a rubber mallet and it will fall off. Second option is just to leave it on... you can't see it anyway since the crank is in the way.

Screwdriver with a tap from a rubber mallet worked very easily. Didn't want to leave it there as it attracts a lot of road grit that I constantly need to clean off.
