Sky is probably ok with that as well. I am not a Froome fan, but he rode really well today. He was assertive, rode hard, and did what he needed to do. He is growing on me as a rider. Contador is looking weak right now, Sagan pretty much had to drag him through the entire stage. Contador is still my pick but he is clearly not 100%.

Oh yeah....no way SKY wanted to keep the jersey. Let Etixx take it, a team with no overall GC rider, and ride tempo for the rest of the week and save up for the TTT.

As I alluded to yesterday, Froome's confidence is making all the difference this year vs. last year. I think his form was clearly lacking last year (especially after the crashes he had @ the Dauphine) and he was a very nervous rider. He is much calmer this year and his form is back on track and it is showing in his riding.

Nothing wrong with that statement. He was losing buckets of time to the GC contendors and eventually lost over 3 minutes on the day. Combined with his previous deficit he's down roughly 6 mins to the other GC contendors. His tour is over.

These first 4 stages have been awesome. 4 different leaders, all deserving and not by default, and all the Jersey contenders still right in the thick of things.
