4:12, 4:14, 4:14

Remember those years in the early 2000s where Peter Reid and Tim Deboom were winning coming off of high 4:30s and low 4:40s bike splits? Those days are long gone.

If anyone in the top 7 runs sub 2:47 then we have a sub 8 hours. I believe we will see 2-3 under 8 hours today.

Ok guys I'm out on the piss with some pals and I've missed the last 3 hours. Please can somebody summarise for me?

Bikes over, in about 15-18 miles the real race will start. Frodeno has had his nose out of the wind all day.

Yup. He's in a good spot.

By my math, all 7 finishers so far beat the old bike record...fast day!

Potts just pulled in. I think he's out of the top 10 this year. Lots of good runners in front of him

He will always have that record, harder to the old longer swim course. By my reckoning the have to go at least an 8;01 to equal Crowie's time on the longer swim course. And certainly several guys have that ability today, certainly having to compete to the finish will not be a factor. This is a drag race now..

What's the over-under on a Wurf DNF? If he blows up how much would he be willing to walk to keep his bike record?
