I noticed that too, but if you look at the bottle shown in pictures from Interbike there is a black rubber valve in front of the straw. I did not see that on the TriSports website. I have the current Torpedo bottle and it leaks through the small vent hole in the lid. I was hoping for a new air vent option to reduce splashing.

Yes, it will only work with the new Versa mounting plate. The new computer mount has a lot of inner workings and any change in mounting may affect its features/stability.

Yes it will come with a new solid lid and a breather valve in the front to make it completely leak-free.

Here's the spare bottle, which comes with the bottle, the breather valve and the solid lid. Looks like they sold out of their 1st batch, but they have more on order.

It will also be available as a Refill Kit which comes with the bottle and all of its accessories (ie 2 lids, straw, dolphin tail, extra spacers). The bottle is an earlier version on the photo, the breather valve will be at the front near the nose. I don't see this color option listed on Trisports' site, but they have a few on order.

I'm not a fan of regular bottle-between-the-arms, but damn that computer mount contraption is ugly and complicated.

Appreciate your opinion on the design, the mount in pictures you saw won't actually be the final one - that was purely a 3D printed prototype for the show. We have enhanced it aerodynamically and aesthetically. As far as it being complicated - it actually won't be for the end user. It will come pre-assembled and all you have to do is simply shift the height to your desired level and tighten the bolt. Then you can push the computer if you want to angle it on-the-go or leave it as is.

Thanks for the update. I didn't mean to sound excessively bitchy! I just prefer simple over having little levers and arms. Though the adjustability is nice. And on my last race with a regular BTA I had to mount my computer to my base bar, which was far from optimal. It's hard to find the "perfect" solution with all that space taken by a bottle.

Oh no worries at all. I hear you on simplicity. We designed to the point of not jeopardizing the level of adjustability & ease of use. I am sure we will be releasing some sneak peaks of the mount in the new year once we get samples in and you can check them out!

is the arm that holds the computer adjustable? Not the up and down that I've seen, but to the length of the arm itself? The pics I have seen make it look like a regular bottle in the cage comes really close to the computer, where it would probably drip all over. If that arm can be pushed out further it would solve this. Any comment or experience since you've handled one? Thx.

Great to hear, I must have missed the 1st batch of pre-orders. No shipping confirmation from Trisports yet.

Currently the anti-leak bottle is only available in the black Refill Upgrade Kit model.

Let me check tomorrow on when we expect the clear bottles to be featured with the new anti-leak feature.

I think Trisports has shipped a few batches. I pre ordered a few weeks ago and got mine last night. I think the first batch shipped last month. Mine shipped late last week.

Trisports shows it out of stock until the end of next week. Mine shipped 1 day before their estimate. So maybe yours will ship next week.

Just checked the website, Trisports still has some units available in select models. Keep checking as they will receive more in shortly.
