I've been trying to plan my race schedule for 2012, and have hit a snag. I'm wanting to do an IM earlier in the season (March, or somewhere around then) but am struggling to find any (outside of the M-Dot branded races). Anyone heard of HITS Triathlon Series?? They've got one in Corpus Christi (TX) and Ocala (FL). Can't find much info on the 2. Any info, or even better, any race suggestions?

Assuming you live in the northern hemisphere and would like to race in the US...you realize that there aren't any super early IMs here, because most places are still having something called winter? :)

HITS is apparently brand new. Next year looks to be their launch year and they are very ambitious with about 12 races all over. Haven't looked into who runs it beyond a superficial look at their website.
For a full iron distance in North America you'll just be SOL, m-dot or otherwise, until around May for Texas IM and perhaps some others that aren't m-dot.
