Quotes on IMAZ run mile markers

I really liked the quotes on the run mile markers. I actually read them this year. I was having a very hard day this year so some of them resonated with me more.

My favorites from the day:

"The harder the conflict the more glorious the triumph" -- Thomans Paine

"Losers visualize the the penalites of failure - winners visualize the rewards of success"

'Never look down on someone unless you are helping them up' was my personal favorite. Scottsdale Running Co. is an excellent shop here in the Valley and they have some awesome group rides and the knowledge of the people working there are great. Melissa Spooner works there so that pretty much sums up the talent.

If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

the quotes were a big part of my come back on the run. I can't remember them but I will email the scottsdale running company because of such a great idea.

The only one I remember on the bike at IMFL was, "You know you're a redneck when your parents met at a family reunion." It held me along for about ten miles.

HAHA!! I LOVED those quotes at IMFL!

They did bring you another good 5-10 miles or so!
