Are Shimano spd-sl cleats compatible with Look Keo pedals? I am in the market for a second set of pedals and already have ultegra pedals. I want another set of pedals that will work with the same cleats for obvious reasons. The Looks seems nicer, lighter and I have heard good things about them.

The Shimano cleat is very different in size and shape and not compatible with the Keo cleat. Now, the two cleats do use the same three-hole mounting pattern.

One thing to consider is that Shimano's new offering the Road Pd-540 offers about the same clip in and clip out tension adjustability. It weighs a little more, but for $70 it appears to be a hell of a pedal for the cash.
