Profile Design's account just tweeted that Rinny is only 5 minutes down. Not sure how accurate that is.

Right. And "we'll be back for our conclusion" of this race. Wait, what about the rest of the field. Do wish they would show more coverage of those chasing down the leaders.

Hope potts has a little left in the tank, freddy is toast it sounds like and frodo has not caught hoffman yet. Top 5 right there, top 3 or 4 could happen with a fast finish. Been a long time since the US has had 2 athletes in the top 4 or 5.

Wouldn't it be an amazing technological breakthrough to have a camera covering the race for second?

Any guys out on the course....can you guys take the delta between Rinny and Ryf at your point on the course and post it here? I think next year, we need around 30 ST volunteers on the QueenK, part of the run, one per half mile and just post time splits. That would provide some meaningful excitement.

Lot less commercials in previous years though. Where the hell is the blender. I finally saved up enough money to buy one.

It's so awesome I wasted my whole day watching a guy bike alone and run alone.

What a boring race today.

Welsh just making comment on 25yr of Ironwar and hill where Allen pulled away. Wouldn't that be a great segway to show a short clip of that race. Who directs this coverage.

Not to mention the 'blog' keeps shifting every new post. Makes it very hard to read in chrono order or figure out whats up without sifting through everything.

They did have a double screen on the men's leader.

Wait- we now have concrete evidence that the womens race wasn't canceled mid-event.

Looks like the epic race is going on behind men's first place and the pro women. :)

Made even more boring by the very poor coverage. Total crap compared to ITU tv.

Couple of posts down in the live blog there is some dude in a cap leaning over the guys in the ironmanlive control booth. Andy something. Seems to be holding a gopro up to a bottle of brown something. There's your problem.
