Right now Kienle, Raelert and Potts are running similar pace.... Raelert and Potts are the only 2 that made up a few seconds on Kienle.

We're going to just have to wait until Rinny gets into T2 to know for sure.

Looks like Potts, Frondeno, OdOnnel, and Ralert are running faster than anyone right now, but they are all just fighting for 10th right now. Those guys sub 6 minute pace, Freddy and a few others just above that pace. No one holding back it looks like..

I think he will blow up though...

Womens race is very interesting though! Big question is how fast and deep can Ryf go?

The paces for the men in the first 5k are a little startling. I think we're going to see some big implosions in the Lab and coming back on the last 10k on Queen K.

I'm enjoying this year's race a lot. There's nothing set in stone and any of 15 or so blokes could be on the podium. The womens race has a smaller podium selection but still fun to watch.

You're right. Going out hard rarely pays off. I would not be surprised to see FVL make a surge in the Lab. Seems like he's just biding his time, not overcooking it.

As per last split, potts outrunning everyone in the race. Keinle not really getting caught by anyone of note either.

Exactly...Freddy is the only one holding back and one could debate that his pace is still too fast. I am worried about Kienle. His lead off the bike was plenty fast. I don't think he needed to go out this fast in the first 9 miles!

This is shaping up to be an exciting race. If Kienle can not get carried away, and keep his nutrition up, he can hold it. Wait and see...

Optimistic, considering the depth of sub-3 talent that's over 5 minutes ahead of her...

Unless you don't count the run prime.

Haven't heard anything but don't have any data for him past the airport. Looks like an early DNF on the bike.

Potts is flying!! He just moved up to 7th from 9th, and now just behind ralert, who is running 2nd best at the moment. Those two together just might crack that top 3 at this rate..
