Funny I just sat down to add that....small you're going to be hard pressed to fit your WS in it.

19x16

58? No wetsuit for me. Solves that problem

We may have been there together. I was asking about the T1 situation too and she had to text someone for answers. When i came back I got the same answers as you btw. And holy mother of T1 swim exits...thats like a half mile run total! I'm gonna hide a gel in my cap and use that time to down it. I'm also gonna strip right away and run with my suit to air dry just a bit before getting to my bike. I have my rental Zipp 404's mounted and man does she "look" fast! I can't wait to get out there and attack that course!

The bags are standard size bags that you get at a full Ironman. They are 2 x 2, so don't bring your huge transition bag.

That could be tough for those who must ride to T1 in the morning from the parking area.

What is the run bag for? According to the athlete's guide it's not mandatory to use it. Is it just a way to keep your stuff dry overnight if you plan on dropping T2 gear off? Are we supposed to put bike stuff (helmet, ...) in there when we get off the bike?

Weather looks chilly. I'm considering wearing a bike jersey over my tri kit on the bike.

You are correct that it will keep your stuff dry if you drop off on Friday. If you are setting up on race morning, you would set up T2 as a normal race.

How's it going. Yeah, it's kinda long run depending where your bike is racked. Glad you like your zipps...they'll ride fast too.

As for the bag thing still working on that deal. I would make sure to take the time to tie them up good or you might not get your WS back.

BTW surf looked fun...maybe Jay was out there..

Yeah but it's dry, folded nice now, trust me it won't be the same wet. Look I'm not saying it won't fit but not much else will fit in it.

As for the bag correct you don't have to use but I don't want my gear, nutrition sitting out in damp cold air and if it gets windy your hat might be history. Also, I'm going with a bike jersey over my tri kit...unless the weather report changes...don't think that's going to happen.

Work led me to drive most of the bike course today. I can confirm the street sweepers were out in full force. Also the construction zone at Las Flores was getting cleaned up pretty good. Looks like we might have some steel plates to deal with but most of the dirt and rock looked to have been swept up.

Is T1 getting torn down early? If you don't place your stuff in the bag for transport to T2 can you just go pick it back up in T1 after you finish?

Of course it hurts. The trick is not minding it hurts.

Ha, ha. Nah, surfed Upper's this morning on my 6'2". Gonna get up and surf early tomorrow, then drive down with my son, register, have lunch and pick up some boards at one of our vendors. Bob, trying to decide where to park. There's a lot along Pacific Drive right across the street from the condos (North Coast Village Condos) that's halfway between T1 and T2. That lot might work, but I'm sure it will fill up fast, and not sure if it's included in the "waived" parking fees on race day. Where are the wave starts posted on the event website?

Thanks. That should save time Friday. I miss roch and paul tho. Bummer they added a third no pass zone but that was inevitable squeezing everyone onto the strand

SWAG question, did anyone get a hat? When I dumped the contents of my bag last night I realized I didn't get a hat. Not that I need another one, just curious?

I do dig the new style bag.

No hat. Just a water bottle and some food swag. Also the workout shirt you got at the end of the expo area.
