As am I, I don't need to go back to o'side as I am not ever going to qualify for vegas anyway

but no on the request. Can we do a 5K swim and only run 8 miles?

If you want to run 8 miles, you can do the 125 in bend or Vegas! We are listening to our participants in regards to the distances so come out, race and turn let us know what you think! See you there!!

I would prefer a longer swim than 2.5K :)

Shorter swim! Like 500 yards. 10k run. 100mile bike :)

I think the Leadman crew can just set up a bunch of buoys and aid stations, fire the starting gun and we can all just turn around at the distances we want. At least we'd all win our respective age groups. :)

Anybody hear of a date registration opens? How is it that St. George opens before oceanside and is after, doesn't make sense to me....

Hope you don't mind but i took your offer of the 50% discount and just booked 2 of us up for Leadman 125 Las Vegas 2013. Have a real Love/Hate relationship with Ironman WTC at the moment, Love doing their races but hate the ridiculous costs and crap communications they have been doing moreso lately. Also their Oceanside run course looked like a dogs breakfast this year (we volunteered to give back at Oceanside and then did Wildflower instead! Great bloody decision!!!!!!).

Really excited about Leadman!!
