Worn by Frodo no less. Wow. I'm assuming it uses a PRIZM road lens (which actually does help with visibility IMO). Fingers crossed it's not an aero brick.

Well, it's pronounced "aero," so it's gotta be fast, right?! [/pink]

I bought into the hype and got an Aerohead... but couldn't stand to not have my PRIZM lenses, so I sold it and went back to my A2.

The true aero helmet that Frodo used earlier this summer (white/black design, not this aero road helmet) definitely looks like it has a PRIZM lens built in. That would be dope.

For the last ~18months he's been using the MET Drone helmet.

Good catch. From the photos, the shape looks a lot like a Giro Selector.

That's some trick camouflage paint on that helmet that is effectively used to break up features such as on prototype cars.

When I zoom in and look at the pattern, I think I can see the side vents (same as in the frontal shot ).

Quite a fan. There is also a more vented version not pictured.

The instagram photo...

Ironman Austria, July 2017 - not exactly the same as the photo from bike rumor (below this one).

If you check out the Bikerumor article you'll see that the helmet has MIPS but no padding in an effort to reduce frontal area. Interesting.

Unless that camo pattern on Jan's helmet from Austria is straight-up magical, they changed the helmet shape quite a bit. Frankly, I'm skeptical of the shape they settled on but I hope I'm wrong.

Just a guess and I'd love to be wrong: I suspect that helmet will only test well for a few people. It won't be another Aerohead/A2/P-09/S-Works TT
