so update from week 4 onwards.
i finally started swimming. i probably have 6-7 miles in since i made that thread. ran an ultra relay last weekend. over 4k elevation gain in 28 miles. i put out a 9 min pace for the race (the 3am leg of 10ish miles killed my time, i averaged 11 min miles cus i was asleep). was sore for a few days. rested all week, just swam and spun lightly.
hiked this weekend with a 50lb pack. did 16 miles. took a little spill and bruised my SIJ on the right side. hurts to turn in bed but it'll be fine by race. didn't do anything today. not going to do anything tomorrow. at this point. rest is key.
wednesday i'll do a 3 mile run when i get to cozumel.
thursday i'll bike and swim and run
friday i'll do the same
saturday i do nothing but rest, maybe light swim and bike before i drop the bike off. most likely just swim and drop bike off.
i'll have some good prizes. i'm busy packing right now so i'm not listing them. (a2 bottle with integrated garmin mount, swim goggles, pedals, helmets etc)
my number is 262 so you guys can track me and see who came closest the time guessed.
