New Soloist Carbon seized seatpost
My seatpost only slides into the frame about 2.5 inches and then is nearly impossible to remove. This is the aluminum seatpost NOT the Carbon fiber one. Could the seattube be too small after 2.5"? How much seatpost needs to be in the frame to be safe? Help!!

That is interesting. But, why do you have an AL one? The bike comes with the carbon post (non reversible one) and if you are buying a flippable one, why did you not buy the carbon one since the AL is such a boat anchor. Mine has a min insertion mark on it (I have both the std and the reversible, both carbon with seats attached for road/tri geometries).
