New Newtons w/o orthodics
Do any people have an experience running with orthopedics in traditional running shoes with an
orthopedics to accomodate overpronation but find themselves running without orthopedics when in Newton
shoes because of their ability to "guide" you into a forefoot strike, thus allowing you to achieve a perfect form.
Do you still need orthopedics in Newton Shoes….

Thanks!

I suggest starting here: http://www.slowtwitch.com/...hnologies_j4277.html

The short answer is, probably, "No." Because Newtons don't "guide" your foot. They just make it - to some extent - easier to midfoot strike. But that won't necessarily fix why you may need orthotics.

Read those articles. That should help.

The Newton Motion also helps with pronation too. Which shoe are you referring to?

To answer your question, no. However, I do my orthotics with Newtons because they suggested it for the "ultimate ride". I have to say, so far they have been wonderful.

Our local Newton rep had people run not only without the insole, but without orthotics in the distance/gravity.

I don't wear orthotics so I can't speak to that specifically, but I do wear Newtons gravity/distance/terra.

Swim - Bike - Run the rest is just clothing changes.
