New Cranks. 175, 170, 165

So the cranks are on all three of my bikes.

175 on my MTB
170 on my road bike
165 on my tri bike.

So far I really like the lengths and it feels like I am pedaling very similar on all three. at TDC I have similar sensations in all three positions.

So as my upper body drops my cranks get shorter. Of note I have a fairly aggressive position on the MTB bike.

Crank lengths are widely disputed. The fact they can dramatically change gearing is not: http://www.slowtwitch.com/...nd_Gearing_4095.html

If you plan on any 6%+ climbs and aren't 4 W/kg+, something to think about.

I'm fairly tall (6'1"/ 32" inseam) and I live in an area where I ride tons of hills and will be doing IM Lake Tahoe this fall. 175s, 52-36, and 11-32. No regrets. YMMV, but something to bear in mind.
