My New Bike Almost Ready

Here are the latest couple of Steath pics. Just needs bar end shifters and cabling. Yeah, it's almost done. My collarbone is almost recovered and I can't wait to ride it.

Gorgeous ride. Do you need a collarbone to ride a bike?

You should post a pic without so much "noise" in the background. It is difficult to even see the bike.

Would love to but it's a little shop. Will post better pics when it's done and I get it home.

Yes that's the medium. Fits me perfect with NO spacers and an 80mm stem. Going to leave the aerobars uncut and give a more superman "ish" position a try. Psycholist and Jens both looked good in there's. See if I can adapt over the winter.

Cheers,

Not annoying at all :^) I'm 5'8'' with a 30 inch inseam measurement. Seat is 26.5 inches from center of bottom bracket to the top of the rails on an SLR.

Just needs bar end shifters and cabling.

Are those some special pedals for time trialing? They're certainly minimalist! ;-)

Awesome bike. I love that carbon weave look on that frame.

nice bike!

Did Zipp's decals get bigger or is it just me? Dang those things are huge.

How did you hurt your collar bone? Some dirty girl rough you up? :-)

It just seems to me that a bike called a "Stealth" should have wheels with no stickers on it... sort of stealthy-like ;-)

Needed the pedals at home for the Lemond Revmaster. Think I'm going to start training again on that tomorrow.

Hoping to have as good a position as you on the bike when it's finished.

If only. Violated Pauli's Exclusion Principle. Two particles cannot occupy the same space. Particularly if one's a car.

Yes the stickers are huge and certainly not stealthy. Probably can be seen from space if properly lit.

All the same, these are absolutely great wheels and in my case the stickers are welcome as it's through Zipp's good graces that the wheels are on the bike.

Sweet bike! I agree get a better pic. The Zipp's look great on it. One question what is the top tube length that you need 80mm stem?

to match the bike, you should find some old plain white Zipp stickers...

...and it would be REALLY cool if Planet-X would change their lettering/logo to something similar to the X-Files (rear backlight fading out around the edges)...then it would be stealthy AND mysterious :-)

The top tube is 53. Using a short stem to get the pads closer to my elbows.

That would look cool on both accounts. Need to get something painted on the aero helmet. Lot's of space on the LG Rocket.

Didn't you used to ride Cyfac? Are you expecting the PX to be a nicer ride?
