Just kidding of course...

I think they do have one on the forward strap... Good eyes. I thought I was the one obsessed enough to look that close.

is it just me or is that not the most beautiful bike fit I have ever seen?

it looks (to the uninformed eye), that it is perfect.

Well, now that you mention it-

I thought the elbow pads were too far forward to provide good skeletal/structural support of the weight of her torso. The angles of her extremities look great, as you mentioned. The cockpit just looks a little uncomfortable.

I don't like her pink clothing but that 2007 Felt DA is the BEST looking bike on the market. Too bad it costs over $7,000!

Not only a huge win for Felt but 2XU as well.

2XU makes some really nice stuff. We just got an order for ourselves to take to Doug Stern's Triathlon Training
Camp next week. I raced in one of their wetsuits this year too. Nice.

I would be really interested (as well as a lot of people) if you did a review. They have a new long-course short w/ pockets (as you know) - http://www.2xu.com/mt1118b.html that I am especially interested in for 2007.

Hey Tom - just out of curiosity (and to make sure I have my position correct) - where is the "ideal" location of the pads in relationship to the rider's elbow?

Is that SRAM Force on her Felt? What shifters is she using (Shimano?) as SRAM does not have bar end shifters listed yet.

Looks like she switched some sponsors after winning Kona. I hope she is getting the payday she deserves. I do believe she upgraded the bike!

IMO the pad is best with about 2-3cm (closer is better) to being in line with an imaginary line extrapolated from the forward edge of the humorus (sp?) bone.

In plain language, the elbow pad should be an elbow pad, not a forearm or wrist pad. The most common improvement I see in this area is to move the pad back on the forearm so it is more under the person's elbow.

This looks good to me:

Word on the street is she has a pretty savvy management team and this was a rather deep-pockets affair.
