Merlin Aerial bottom bracket question
While doing a bit of Christmas shopping for my wife this evening I've come to the conclusion that I don't know what thread type (English or Italian) or length (I think 108mm) bottom bracket is needed for her Merlin Aerial. The old Durace bb is wipped and she is moving on to some light compact cranks needing an ISIS bottom bracket.

Can one of you more worldly bike mechanics chime in on this one.

Thanks for any informed replies.

good question and not sure I can be much help even though I ride an Aerial as well. It could be Italian threaded if the previous BB was a Campy, but more then likely it is English, mine is. As far as the spindle length, just tell the bike shop that that you are running a double chain ring and not a triple and they should be able to figure it out if they are worth their salt.
