Desert Dude said something about all of us (me, him, mojo, etc.) getting a place together. Do you know if he did that already? CLM, isn't Carlsbad with stumbling distance?

hmmmm....maybe but I'd like to be kept informed so I can rent the right thing...
clearly we can rent a condo for a bunch and it will be cheaper than a hotel...
besides we can prepare our own food...a big plus before races...

I am pretty sure that he has a friend from here that is going as well. We should probably give him a call and find out for sure. Are you flying in or driving in? We can start everything this week and make everything solid next weekend over a couple brewskies!

Yes, C'bad is close. That's where I'm staying (w/friends). A condo is a great idea and there are lots of them at the harbor and along the run course.

I don't want to stay too close to the run course. I will be too tempted to stop in for a beer on the second lap! The guys drinking beer and playing the music along the course are a blast!
