Here is my stable of bikes:
1. "The Mistress" - my blue & gray 2009 Cervelo P2. Named 'The Mistress' by my wife since I was spending more time and money on bike.
2. "The Dominatrix" - my white 2010 Scott Team CX. She likes it rough and dirty. I often end up getting bruised and in pain after taking her out on a muddy forest trail or single track.
3. "Black Beauty" - my 2022 Canyon Endurace CF7 ETAP. I gave into modern beauty standards and got something a little wider at the bottom. 32mm wide to be exact. And it turns out the old adage it true - "The bigger the cushion, the better the pushin' up a rough, putholed hill"
4. "Just a Friend" - Specialized Comfort Bike (year unknown). Not something you want your cyclist friends to see you riding but... she can be fun if you had a few drinks and just want an easy, quick ride to the store.
Remember - It's important to be comfortable in your own skin... because it turns out society frowns on wearing other people's
