Lazer Wasp Air?
Anyone buy one yet? Can anyone compare the sizing to other helmets? How is the visor attachment? Secure, loose, falls off a la Giro shield?
Thx!

I just bought one and used it for IM St. George 70.3. I really like it. Fits well and did not seem hot. Was easy to put on in transition. Really like the visor. Much quieter than my old race helmet.

Well mike, you've convinced me. Just ordered one, I'll post a review after a few rides.

Got mine today. Excellent fit on my 59cm head (M-L 55-61). I also have a Louis Garneau Course (M 56-59) that's comparable in size. Visor is a bit hard to open, wouldn't want to do it while riding. Didn't try to remove it yet.

Easy to put on, with flexible wings at the sides, slightly harder to take off, at least compared to a road helmet. No big deal, though.

Ordered a white from Lazer directly, but got a black. Well, there isn't much of a difference anyway, both being black and white, so I'll keep it.

How does the visor attach? Is it magnets like the Giro Air Attack shield? I like that helmet but I don't like the magnet clip method. I prefer something like my old Rudy one (forget the name of that old thing).

I'm afraid I'm going to knock off the visor while riding one of these days.

Just got mine a couple hours ago. The visor isn't connected with magnets, it's more of a "snap-on" system I'd say. It is definitely sturdy.

To echo the previous comment, opening it isn't the easiest of tasks. Probably wouldn't try it while riding full speed.

You're not going to knock the visor off the Wasp, that's for sure.

I wish I wouldn't have seen this post as now I'm trying to convince the wife to let me order the Cerebel.

I was choosing between the POC Cerebel and the Lazer Wasp Air. It came down to reviews about venting and heat. Seems the POC doesn't vent as well. I'm in the Houston, TX area so that a concern.
