Last Year I gradually removed the headset spacers. I am now in a position which I think is pretty effective, with one spacer left. However I keep hearing a voice saying "go on it is only waffer thin", but I wonder if I should leave well enough alone of if I should go for it?

The Reynolds site specifically states to use minimum two spacers with their full carbon forks.
I have no idea why, I'm just the messanger, but somebody posted here that a "hot spot" is created between frame and steerer when no spacers are used so spacers should be used..
