I'm looking for a place to stay for my parents and parents-in-law for the Sat. and Sunday, so they could go to Tupper Lake or anywhere else not so close to the start. Cheap if possible. Thanks

That's the same weekend as the horse show, so most places right in town are booked. I called a few weeks ago and was able to get a place at the Cobble Mt Lodge; another affordable option away from town would be either the Cascade or the Jack Rabbit, and I'm sure there are places on the other side of town heading towards Saranac that would be similar. Good luck!

I've stayed at the Tupper Lake Motel (800-944-3585) several times when doing the Tupper Lake Tinman. Cheap, very clean and the owners are very nice.

Saranac Hotel in Saranac is a nice place and not far from LP. My family and I stay there every year when doing Tupper Lake. I'm not sure of its availability during the IMLP weekend but you can give them a try.
