I'm looking for an accomodation in Queenstown from January 7th to Jan 22nd...
Never been to QT so I'm not sure if it's 'big' or not...but I'd prefer something close to race site with no need for a car etc...
Motels/Hotels recommendations?
Obviously not from there, but I went there for the worlds a few years back, and there were a lot of hotels, some very cheap. The list that we were given from the travel agents was outrageous, and luckily I booked on my own. When I got there I saw rooms in town for about $45 a nite, and that's kiwi dollars. And there were lots of vacancys, even though they were hosting worlds. If it is actually based in town there, then yu have lots of close choices. Maybe one of the kiwis there can do a more local search...Have fun, wish I was going with you, I love that place.......

Queenstown isn't very big and it is a tourist town so it is easy to get ripped off...also Jan is height of the summer season so there will be German backpackers galore...
Having said that the USD goes a long way and there will be deals to be had with a bit of searching.
