I'm gonna test it out in a super short triathlon to warm up into the season. I've never gone an entire race in a full tri suit. I'll be doing the Rookie Triathlon in Texas. Anyone have experience doing their whole race in a tri suit? How'd it go?

I've been racing for years in full tri suits. I love 'em. I was racing in the Speedo until this year when I swtiched to the Orca. My Speedos were raced in so much that they just plain wore out. I have the Orca that zips up the back, no pockets. I feel as though I stay cooler. I pour water over my head at each rest area. I get wierd looks from volunteers since I carry my own gatorade bottle and pour the water they give me over my head. The full suit stays wet and keeps me cooler.

i am a trisuit convert, i made the switch because of chafing issues on the run.
over the summer here, I've since done two half IM, a full IM and around 15 sprint races.
i am a convert for sure, the junk stays nice and snug, and toilet stops are no hassle so long as i strip to the waist as I approach the porta loo.
I reject your reality and substitute my own!
