I think it (global warming) did kick in here. Yesterday it was 83 degrees (28C) in Santa Rosa and we are 100 KM north of San Francisco...not exactly LA. Made for a nice lunch time bike ride...

Forecasted high here today is 75 degrees. Forecasted high for Saturday here is 43 degrees.

Long? I wish it was below freezing for 2 months here... instead of 5. It actually bumped up to just above freezing yesterday and we got a little rain which ate up some of the snow. They're forecasting some more above freezing next week, if it actually happens I'm going to take the mountain bike out for a spin. Still too much snow and ice around for the skinny tires of the road bike right now

It was below -15C for the last 2 months in Hfx. Wind chill put that down to around -30C. There were a few days a bit warmer than that, but not many. Winter was about 3 and a half months long, pretty unusual for Nova Scotia. Hopefully the summer will be longer than the usual 3 weeks.

Just got back from my bike ride in the Auburn hills. It is 80 degrees today!! Was sweating like crazy. Supposed to cool down to 75
tomorrow and then back to 80 for the weekend. My darn indoor trainer is feeling so lonely this season. I have hardly used it.
